Dishwasher service calls cluster around a familiar set of failures. The dishwasher isn't draining: water sits in the bottom after the cycle. It's leaking onto the floor mid-cycle. The dishes aren't getting clean despite detergent and the right cycle. It won't start (control panel, door latch, or a child-lock feature engaged by accident). It's making a buzzing, grinding or humming noise. The control panel is throwing an error code no one understands.
Each has a clear diagnostic path. Drain failures usually trace to the drain pump, the air gap, or a clogged disposal connection. Leaks are usually door gasket, tub-to-pump seal, inlet valve, or a loose hose connection at the back. Cleaning failures are usually spray-arm blockage, a worn pump impeller, or a faulty heating element that isn't bringing the water up to temperature. We test each system on site.
We repair Bosch, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag, GE, Samsung, LG, Frigidaire, Kenmore, Miele, Viking and Thermador. Bosch and KitchenAid are the two most common premium dishwashers we see; we carry common parts and know the service intervals. Miele units are built to a different standard and reward proper diagnosis (we're trained on them).
On the high end, we're certified on Thermador, which is the trio brand most often paired with Sub-Zero refrigerators and Wolf ranges in custom kitchens across north Atlanta. If you've got a Thermador-equipped kitchen in Suwanee, Johns Creek or Alpharetta, you've found the right shop.
Most dishwasher leaks come from one of four places. The door gasket has hardened or torn and water is escaping during the wash cycle. The tub-to-pump seal underneath has perished. The water inlet valve is failing and overfilling the tub. Or a hose connection at the back of the unit (drain hose, fill hose, or air-gap return) has loosened.
Each is fixable as a same-visit repair on most brands. Door gaskets and inlet valves are inexpensive parts; tub seals require pulling the dishwasher out from under the counter, which adds labor time but rarely the part cost. We give you the quote up front so you know what you're paying for.
Dishwasher Repair Across Buford and Greater Atlanta
We service dishwashers across Buford, Sugar Hill, Flowery Branch, Suwanee, Gainesville, Lawrenceville, Dacula, Duluth, Johns Creek and Alpharetta.
Three causes account for almost every “dishwasher won't drain” call. The drain pump has failed and is no longer pushing water out. The air gap on top of the sink is clogged with food debris, or the drain hose has a high loop that's backflushed and blocked. Or, on units connected to the disposal, the disposal's knockout plug was never removed when the dishwasher was installed (a surprisingly common contractor mistake).
We diagnose all three on site. The disposal-knockout situation is the fastest fix, and we've handled it more times than we can count. Pump replacement is a same-visit job for most brands. We don't quote sight unseen because the right answer can be a $30 fix or a $250 repair.
We schedule, arrive within the window, diagnose on site, and quote before starting any work. Trip charge is waived when you proceed. Most repairs finish the same visit if the part is on the van.
3-month warranty on parts and labor as standard. We carry the common Bosch, KitchenAid, Whirlpool and Samsung dishwasher parts and source premium-brand parts (Thermador, Miele, Viking) within 24-48 hours typically.
